“You are going to die” is the best advice you will ever hear?

”I’m not afraid to die, I just don’t want to be there when it happens”

-Woody Allen

This might seem obvious and maybe slightly unnecessary but most of us are walking around acting as if we will live forever.

Most people hear this statement and get scared because it wakes them up to the uncertain reality that they are not immortal.

A Truth they have been hiding from, often with the help of addictions to material items, drugs, tv shows, sex, food, fantasies, even work and exercise and the iPhone.

The importance of reminding ourselves daily that we are not is not to create a culture of fear and anxiety but the opposite.

Anxiety will only be caused by this thought if we are not currently living our true purpose but living a life of egotistic selfishness.

Once we align with our true inner purpose we will find that the reality of our slowly approaching death cannot scare us any more.

In fact, you will soon find that once you start to let go of the things that have a hold over you, you are then free to create a wonderful life full of passion, compassion and gratitude.

So get out there now and live like you are going to Die!

”Many people die at twenty-five and aren’t buried until they are seventy-five”

– Benjamin Franklin
